the panoramic view of the Goldfield Mountains, Bulldog Cliffs and Saguaro
Lake. Or rent a runabout watercraft or fish off of a pontoon boat.
One hour from Phoenix is the Canyon Lake area with 28 miles of cactus—dotted shoreline, explore wondrous rock formations, discover private coves and spot countless species of birds, big horn sheep and deer. The Canyon Lake offers water skiing, Jet Ski, wind sail on 950 surface acres of waters to run. Or visit the Precision Marina and board the Dolly Steamboat for a scenic dinner cruise.
Within a two hour drive from Fountain Hills is the famous Sedona area with
the red rock formations, hiking, horse back riding, hummer tours, resort—spa
retreats, golf and fly fishing activities. And a half hour north of Sedona
is the wonders of the Grand Canyon.
For the winter sports enthusiasts some of the world’s finest down hill skiing is located in the White Mountains Region in Arizona. The White Mountains Region is a two-hour drive from Fountain Hills. All winter sports are found in the White Mountains Region, cross-country skiing, snow mobile trails and downhill skiing. Also, the White Mountains Region in Arizona is a four-season playground for Fountain Hills residents.
